Welcome to the two-year anniversary episode of the Onion Juice Podcast! I love it when you get an idea from the podcast and you implement it and it changes your business. So today I want to talk about how to implement ideas. We are never short of ideas, but ideas alone cannot guarantee success. So on this episode, I walk through six tips that will enable you to get things in motion and see your ideas become reality in your business.

The ABC’s of organizing your work week

A few agents from our office went to the Core conference recently. Kelly brought back one tip that really stuck with her, that of organizing your work week by labeling your tasks A, B, & C, according to when they need to get done. This is a great way to get started on implementing ideas, and really helps with the second tip, which is patience - learning that there is progression in everything and that you don’t have to do it all right now. Listen to today’s episode of The Onion Juice Podcast to get the details on these and other tips on how to implement ideas.

A clear plan and sharp focus are crucial to implementing new ideas

When you want to implement an idea, you have to create a clear plan and prepare yourself for both internal and external objections. A good coach can be extremely helpful at this stage, giving you feedback on your plan and walking through objections with you. As you begin to put the idea into action, you need to put blinders on and stay focused on your clear plan, not being distracted by shiny object syndrome. If you have an idea you want to implement, listen to today’s episode and get started on the right track.

Strong motivation and measurable milestones will make your ideas become reality

How motivated are you to implement your great idea? To succeed, you have to really want it, not put it on cruise control and hope you get there. On this episode, I talk about the kind of motivation that drives your process and enables you to reach your goals. I also share about my own motivation, and the milestones I have set up to keep me on track and spread the work out in a way that is realistic and measurable. Join me to get the tips you need to implement your ideas and watch them become reality in your business.

Good business leaders don’t just have great ideas, they implement them

Jack Welch said, “Good business leaders create a vision, articulate the vision, passionately own the vision, and relentlessly drive it to completion.” This is a powerful statement, and so true. On this episode, I walk through six tips that will help you to clearly define your plan and move it forward until you accomplish it. You’re not short on great ideas. Listen to today’s podcast to get started on implementing them!
